A simplified breakdown of the proper sequencing of the downswing. For any golfer trying to break 100, 90 or 80… this is really all you need to practice as far as the body movement is concerned. Ideally, for better players who don’t have an issue coming over the top, the bump will be more subtle and hip rotation will start blending in much earlier, perhaps simultaneously as the shift.
